Biltema Nordic Services is a service company within Biltema with various departments that together deliver a complete solution for the department stores' assortment and operations. The IT department in Helsingborg provides systems and digital solutions in collaboration with Biltema's other companies within the group for our Nordic markets.
You will be part of a large team of colleagues who, together with the entire IT department, develop, manage, and support both proprietary products and systems, as well as well-known systems from market-leading suppliers. Together with your colleagues, the mission is to develop, integrate, and automate Biltema's over 150 digital platforms and systems.

WORK TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the software engineering team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to the engineering team, ensuring the use of appropriate technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Review and approve the design, architecture, code, and testing of IT solutions, ensuring compliance with security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with other IT managers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business needs, define IT requirements, and prioritize IT initiatives.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and processes, ensuring alignment with IT policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance, availability, and quality of IT solutions, identifying and resolving issues and implementing improvements.
• Together with other engineering managers, own, manage and improve the IT Development process.
EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, including 2 years of experience in leading and managing software engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge and experience in software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Proficient in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Working hours: Standard office hours with the possibility for hybrid work.
