hela Sverige We are now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Network Intercom test team within New Business R&D. The team is performing Quality Assurance of Axis Intercom products and System Solutions.

As Engineering Manager for Intercom QA you will work with quality assurance of new technology and solutions. You will have access to a highly skilled and motivated team, and you will be able to set the strategic direction for your team.
You will be working together with both new and experienced managers that will inspire you and help you in your personal development. You will also have possibilities to attend relevant training.
What you'll do here as Engineering Manager
In this position you will be responsible for the quality assurance of Network Intercom solutions in an Agile work environment. This includes all aspects of quality assurance, including functional and non-functional testing as well as a joint responsibility for the development processes.
Your main tasks will be to:
* Lead the team and individuals in their daily activities, make sure we get most out of everyone and that they get the needed support.
* Lead and participate in the strategy work, in quality assurance related areas, within New Business R&D.
* Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual.
* Run the day-to-day operations making sure that we have the right competence, ways of working and test tools as well as a relevant network within the organization.
* Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitment of test engineers, etc.

Since we are working close together with the development organization in agile teams, you find it easy to interact with individuals as well as organizations. You combine the skill of listening with the skill of deciding and can find a good balance in between the two. You are an open-minded, cooperative person - a leader who can make people feel enthusiastic about their work.
You also have a genuine technical interest and like to get involved in work to improve the whole product development chain.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
* At least a few years of leadership experience in leading roles, such as test lead, project manager or line manager.
* Passionate about testing and quality work and have relevant test experiences from former assignments.
* Well up to date with modern agile ways of testing.
* Fluent in Swedish and English.
* Last but most important you have a proven successful track record in leading and developing people, and a genuine interest in finding ways to develop your team, etc. As a person you are positive and empathic, combined with the ability to negotiate and take decisions when needed.
