You will get the chance to use and develop your technical and creative engineering skills, while gaining valuable experience working with real products on real business challenges. During the year you will engage in activities that will help you grow professionally and personally, developing strong communication and collaboration skills.
Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe, and senior leaders to help you excel. We hope you will learn as much from us as we will from you.
How you will make an impact
At Vehicle Software Factory (VSF), our mission is to make sure that complete software and electronics are delivered towards agreed milestones with expected functional content. We harmonize the GTT software ecosystem and cultivate a product-centric environment within the Volvo Group.
The Product & Test Leading team's atmosphere is vibrant; we're pioneering new endeavors and striving to break new ground. Our team of 15 talented colleagues combine diverse perspectives, from young graduates taking their first steps in the industry, to experienced professionals sharing expertise. This mix of backgrounds, ideas, and personalities is what fuels our creativity and drives us forward.
As a Product Leader, you will lead and drive the implementation of new features and improvements for our trucks, making a visible impact. For a Graduate, it offers a diverse and influential role where you will be challenged in leadership, work close to our trucks, learn about new technology, and engage with people.
Your daily tasks will include:
Collaborating with development teams across the organization to understand their plans and support them in solving identified challenges.
Engaging in cross-functional discussions with Product Leader colleagues to align how upcoming software will be tested in trucks and rigs.
Providing clear communication and reporting of product status to relevant stakeholders, ensuring that decisions and priorities are based on facts and data.
