The Engineering Excellence Strategic Enabler has a global responsibility to create business value by driving continuous improvement in cross-functional communication and cooperation between sites and product domains

The Engineering Excellence Strategic Enabler plays a key role in our agile transformation journey. The role requires a networking and servant-based leadership style, open mindset and passion to deliver value to the Engineering community and thereby to our customers

Your base will be at our offices in Gothenburg, and you will have the opportunity to visit and engage with our different sites to ensure global best practices sharing and global continuous improvement

Your mission is to achieve concrete results of increased cross-functional communication and cooperation between sites and product domains. This requires being an advisory for strategic and operational agility, setting up and nurturing change teams to create the operational leadership needed for an agile transformation, and empowerment of cross-functional teams. A proven capability to provide guidance for flow impediment extraction, visualization and handling is of the essence

Your mission includes defining a people-centric processes framework for an adapted agile way of working that ensures cross-functional performance and compliance with automotive standards

In your overall strive towards a continuous-everything way of working you will use your skills in servant leadership coaching and training, multi-role agile change networks and coaching rings

You have the energy and patience to listen and work with people to find their motivational factors, help them empower individuals and develop an organization from silos and conflicting goals to teams with common goals and continuous improvement

You have long experience from companies that have been on the journey from a classic product-centric company to a value and human-centric one. You have experience not only in coaching, educating and inspiring individuals and teams, but also in setting up a network of people to facilitate change locally on multiple sites worldwide

You have extensive experience from engineering, software and hardware development, and the ability to speak the language of our engineers and meet them "where they are" in their reality. You thrive on helping our engineers come up with concrete ways of working in a more iterative and fast-paced way, with innovation and proactivity as a part of the cyclic process

You have comprehensive leadership experience, both strong servant leadership experience from agile project management, scrum mastery or product ownership, and from having responsibility for staff development. You understand the reality of our managers and coach them in servant leadership. You help our managers make their days better by helping them empower their employees and delegate decisions and responsibility while having trust in their teams

You have long experience in working with product management in an international environment, interacting and building relationships with people in many different countries and cultures, while representing the strategic view of the company. This will be required to be able to gain trust for you as a person and for Engineering Excellence leadership initiatives while retaining the sense of ownership and responsibility of each site management

Our purpose is to create trust in mobility. We design and build state-of-the-art hardware, software, and solutions for active safety, ADAS, autonomous driving, restraint control and brake control

Additionally Veoneer in Sweden is located in 5 different cities throughout the country, from Skellefteå in the north to Gothenburg on the west coast. Our Application Center is located in the middle of the Swedish car mecca, Gothenburg. Here our Project Managers, Hardware, Software and System Leads work together to develop, adapt and deliver our products to our customers. We strive to represent the complete developing cycle, to do that we work closely with our customers, suppliers and other Veoneer sites all over the globe
