hela Sverige In the role as head of production engineering you will be responsible to lead and develop the production engineering function as well as being an important part of the plant management team. The production engineering work is aiming both daily support to our production departments and long term development of our industrial setup. You will be responsible for the machine and equipment investment planning. Setting the standards for production is an important part of the engineering work. You will have an important contribution to our common goal to be perceived as the leading manufacturer of axles and transmissions.
The function consists of five groups under 5 managers and in total about 70 people. There is a big portion of cross functional work with both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
• Extensive leadership experience
• Extensive experience from working with manufacturing engineering
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in English and Swedish is a must
We believe you have an academic degree in manufacturing engineering or similar. You have at least 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience and minimum 5 years in a management position, preferably from the automotive industry. You are a straight forward leader who value diversity and see people as the most important asset. You are good at motivating others and are willing to work hard in order to develop this plant in the direction of absolute world class.
