hela Sverige We now offer an opportunity to become an Engineering Coordinator who will be involved in developing our next generation products.
As an Engineering Coordinator, you get a broad understanding of how a development department works and interacts with other departments as well as how a product is realized in an industrial context on a worldwide market.
In this position you are a part of a group within our Product Development Department (E&D), which is responsible for the development of microwave mechanics for our radar-based sensors and data acquisition/communication devices, which gives us an exciting and eventful work environment.
We work in new development and management projects where we strive for a structured approach. Our global manufacturing means that design changes are introduced simultaneously in several places in the world. There is therefore a strong need for coordination.
As an Engineering Coordinator, you work primarily in the implementation and maintenance phases of mechanical and electronics development, and interact with competence groups within the development department, production preparation and product management.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and run the administrative parts of global design changes, realize product labeling and label drawings.
Compile component lists used in the supplier follow-up of the RoHS Chemicals Directive as well as summarize changes made by other development departments globally as well.
University degree in mechanical engineering, product development (or equivalent).
Work experience within similar positions is a bonus but not a requirement.
For success in this position you have strong organizing skills and enjoys working in a structured way. Networking and taking own initiatives is needed personal skills for this position and a curiosity for technology development.
For this position, we also consider experience in the following areas as merits: Illustration programs (Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD or similar, PDM systems (Teamcenter or similar).
