CIDAN MACHINERY Sweden is seeking a Design change notification Coordinator in Götene. DCN Coordinator will work with Engineering, Operations, Product Marketing, and sourcing teams on a daily basis. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all changes are controlled, documents are signed off, released, and archived per the company standard processes. The candidate will lead a maintenance group up to 10-15 persons from different departments. To maintain the product quality expected by the CIDAN customer base.
Once established within the role, the candidate will operate with autonomy. The candidate will be able to create and revise BOM, items in the ERP system. A typical working day is to coordinate the DCN group, development, documentation and revised data to implement new products and sustain product projects.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Manage the review and release of new controlled engineering data.
Support and update process for all changes.
Lead Engineering Change Order meetings and reviews to ensure the DCN process is followed for all releases.
Bill of Material structure in an ERP system and include engineering documents for future release.
Coordinate and lead the DCN team, Marketing, Production, Purchasing, Quality, production and. Engineering to make sure the correct direction, release, and level of involvement in the process.
Upgrade existing DCN App to next level, easier to handle, integration with other departments, globally overview etc.
Support internal and external process audits.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical personnel.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly WORD and EXCEL.
Understanding of engineering tools (VAULT&INVENTOR) and ERP system.
Required Experience:
Experience with documentation and approval processes associated with factory/production environments.
Working in any ERP system.
Working with Change Order/Work Order documentation processes.
Language skills, fluent language speaker can comfortably speak, write, and understand the language. (English and Swedish).
High School education (Bachelor of Engineerin) or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience with ERP, PDM systems.
Familiarity with database usage (costing, where used, report generation).
Exposure to drafting tools (AutoCad, Solidworks, etc.) in order to review and update submitted documentation, revised and new design.
Familiarity with the requirements for documentation in a plant/factory environment.
Experience in a regulated industry.
Ability to understand technical drawings.
Ability to review/modify parts lists (BoM's).
Systems, Software knowledge.
