For 24 months you will be fast tracked through departments such as Body & Trim, Powertrain, Chassis, Electrical and Strategy & Vehicle Concepts, with coaching and support along the way. We have designed the programme around your ambitions to become an experienced Mechanical Engineer. The programme includes introduction, training, study trips, projects and internships.
You will be part of a team of graduates that together will develop and build a strong network.
We will create a clear career target - a position based on your aims and capabilities. After the programme you will have extensive career opportunities within engineering and get a flying start into core operative Mechanical Engineering.
All positions will be placed at Volvo Car Group's head office at Research & Development in Gothenburg. You will be offered a permanent position in an engineering team from the start of the programme. After completed programme you will have a continued development within your home organisation.
Your profile
We are looking for expected graduates from spring semester 2015, with passion for mechanical engineering, new technology and design. Your long term goal is to become a Senior Engineer. We would like you to enjoy working as part of a team, but also have the ability to act independently. You have great communication skills and a holistic view. In addition, we are looking for people with great solution ability and who show great commitment and energy!
In order to qualify for our career programme, you need to have the following personal qualities and required qualifications:

Required qualifications
• Master and/or Bachelor within Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Graduate year is spring semester 2015
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Knowledge of CAD from your education
