We are now looking for an Engineer within Vehicle Motion Control to work with ADAS and AD.


Description

The amount of Software and electronics in modern cars continue to increase and the prognosis is that it will become even more essential in the future. The future car will contain complex functions build upon complex algorithms and data structures.

We are now looking for a skilled experienced System Engineer within ADAS and AD, which will help us to achieve our vision to shape mobility for a sustainable future.



As an ADAS/AD engineer you will be part of the Autonomous, ADAS Software & Controls group within the Vehicle Motion organization. Example of tasks for the role is requirement setting, design/implementation and validation of ADAS (Advanced Driving-Assistance System) and AD (Autonomous Drive) systems in the Vehicle Motion area. You will also support cross-functional teams implementing the functions in the complete product.

As an experienced developer in the team, you are expected to contribute in strategic technical planning and interact with suppliers to influence the technical evolution.



Tools used: MATLAB, Simulink, CarMaker, Excel, CANalyzer.





The role also involves:

- Being responsible for function/functions development within the AD/ADAS domain.
- Supporting the development of vehicle level requirements.
- Create design proposals on system and component level.
- Coordinate/lead R&D projects within the AD/ADAS domain



We are looking for someone who has:

- Relevant engineering experience in the work area.
- University engineering education or equivalent experience.
- Domain knowledge within automotive electronics.
- Domain knowledge within ADAS and AD.
- Experience from software intense systems in the automotive industry.
- Experience from development of embedded systems with high real time requirements.
- Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, for example ISO-26262.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
- Driver license B.
