We are now looking for Engineers - Vehicle Information
Description
The Connectivity SW & Vehicle Information organization, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the NEVS Technical Development Organization.
You will be part of a team of development engineers working primarily with other design engineers (both internal and external). You will be part of the team responsible to break down vehicle requirements into component requirements that fall under the responsibility of the Vehicle Information team. The responsibility for this role will be targeted towards one or several of the affected components, such as: IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) , HU (Head Unit, Radio), TU (Telematics Unit), Sound systems (Internal and External), Antennas and Microphones.
Your position will complement existing skills and resources, and you will be reporting to the Group Leader Vehicle Information.
The role as Engineer - Vehicle Information involves:
- Analyzing and break-down of the vehicle requirements affecting the Vehicle Information components
- Requirement feedback / update / optimization / allocation throughout the complete development process
- Supporting technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development lifecycle
- Identifying opportunities to improve products or processes
- Evaluating the feasibility of new proposals and requirement changes
- Supporting analysis of design requirements using methods like FMEA, FTA etc.
- Providing input to best practice design solutions
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Be a team player with ability to plan and prioritize
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
- Have Good Communication skills
- Strong interest in the area of Automotive, Connectivity, Human-Machine Interface, Internet of Things (IoT)
- Adaptability in the interaction with different persons, groups and culture.
