Business Unit Networks focuses on developing leadership in next-generation convergent networks, by leveraging our leading position in mobile and fixed access, transport and core networks. Business Unit Networks is a global organization with more than 21,000 employees.
Product Development Unit Base Station Hardware and Firmware is responsible for all hardware design for GSM and WCDMA base stations. The PDU is also responsible for the manufacturing cost for these base stations. The organization consists of a Project Office, System Management and I/V, PBA Design, Digital ASIC, Power and Enclosure. We are based in Kista, Stockholm.
We are looking for an engineer to work with product development of 3G, baseband uplink and downlink products. The work stretches from early specification through electrical design to layout, simulation, design verification and full-scale production issues.
You are a newly graduated engineer with a genuine interest in digital hardware design or you have a Master of Science and a couple of years experience working in the field.
We expect you to work both independently and in project teams, and take personal responsibility for work methods and completion of tasks. The successful candidate will have a structured and analytical approach. You are fluent in both spoken and written English. Swedish language skills are an advantage.
