Our office in Stockholm is located in Gamla Stan, close to our operation. We're a small, hard working team in the office that manage our operation together. Red City Buses are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated supervisor to join our operation in Stockholm. A successful candidate will be responsible for helping to manage the fleet of vehicles, making sure that all checks and repairs are compliant with Red City Buses own as well as transport rules and regulations
Key Accountabilities:
Making sure that all of our vehicles are road worthy
All necessary checks and testing in Besiktning,Tacho and Tax are up to date
Managing paperwork related to inspections and incidents
Maintain and update vehicle records
Carry out necessary repairs
Keep control of the stock levels
Plan and supervise daily activities of the team
Provide regular reports from repairs and investigations
Maintain highest possible standards regarding fire safety and general health and safety rules
Requirements
Previous, proven track record of experience in a similar role
Good working knowledge of all bus vehicle systems and transport inspection standards
Excellent people management skill with ability to monitor performance and productivity
A bus license would beneficial
Great communication skills
Minimal knowledge in mechanical engineering
To succeed in the role requires that you have good technical understanding and are driven by having many tasks at the same time. You are a person who is able to jump in wherever in the business it is needed. As we work in the tourism industry, we have a clear work stoppage during the summer period May - September, which, unlike many others, we do not have the opportunity for longer leave during this period.
