We are now looking for a Serviceability Engineer within the department of Product Lifecycle Engineering!


Description

The Product Lifecycle Engineering (PLE) department is incorporated inside the Technical Development Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Engineering are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.

As a Serviceability Engineer you will develop validation methods, secure, perform and document validation result of the serviceability requirements, both virtual validation and hands-on on vehicle.





The role as Serviceability Engineer involves:

- Perform serviceability engineering work e.g. service parts and repair method determination in advance.
- Review the design of the construction to ensure that PLE 's requirements are fulfilled.
- Responsibility for developing action plans when problems have been identified.



We are looking for someone who has:

- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent experience.
- Experience working within aftersales domain, preferably serviceability work or mechanical repair methods.
- Knowledge in CAD environments.
- Good knowledge about modern vehicles and systems are preferable.
- Good knowledge and skills in English, both written and spoken
- Driver license B



To be successful in the role, you need to:

- Manage assignment by yourself in both structured and agile environments.
- Handle multiple tasks and always deliver on time.
- Have functional and technical skills.
- Be a team player, work is done in cooperation and coordination within NEVS.

- Be problem solving, action-orientated, creative and open minded.
- Have good communications skills.

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
