We are now looking for an Engineer Infotainment with main responsibility for peripheral Infotainment components such as Antennas / Speakers / Microphones
Description
The Infotainment Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of a team of Engineers, with responsibility for the Infotainment Head Unit, Instrument Panel Cluster, Telematics & Connectivity, Antennas, Speakers, Microphones and External Sound
An Engineer primarily collaborates internally with other engineers and technical specialists and externally with suppliers and is involved in all phases of a car project.
The role as Engineer Infotainment involves:
- Main contact for technical communication with selected suppliers through the complete product development lifecycle
- Analyzing and follow up of the Infotainment Components performance and timing
- Requirement feedback / update / optimization / allocation throughout the development process
- Identifying opportunities to improve products or processes
- Evaluating the feasibility of new proposals and requirement changes
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks
- Supporting analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
- Providing input to best practice design solutions
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Be a team player with ability to plan and prioritize
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to adapt in the interaction with different persons, groups and cultures
