We are now looking for an Engineer in Chassis system!
Description
Chassis system is considered one of our highest priority area within the Powertrain & Chassis organization, highly focusing on Chassis systems for Electric Vehicle, Vehicle Dynamic 's attribute and Simulation. The focus is to combine an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well as user convenience.
As an Engineer Chassis, you will be part of a team that track mass targets and DFM activities for complete vehicle and also support attribute owner Vehicle Mass. Secondary assignment would be to track Validation activities within Chassis area, work close to Lead Engineers and create validation plans from system/component requirements.
In that role you will have a complete vehicle system integration understanding of both conventional systems set up, but also and most important, future ground braking system layout for next gen EV Vehicle. This is important for mass prediction for future platform development within NEVS.
The role involves:
- Support 's engineering and product development organization with a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge on Vehicle mass.
- Support VTS targets on Vehicle and system level.
- Identify opportunities and/or implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce Weight.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products.
- Establish and maintain internal Weight follow up system.
- Be responsible for verification and validation activities.
- Communicate the Vehicle Mass with project & line org.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Some years of relevant engineering experience in the work area.
- Have a knowledge and understanding of Vehicle Mass.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
- Driver license B.

- Have the ability to plan and prioritize.
