With a growing fleet and increased demand from our customers, we are now looking for a research and development engineer for our development department for modernization and upgrades (M&U) for medium sized gas turbines (MGT) 15-63 MW.
We are a group of 17 members with a background in various technology areas.
The goal of the M&U department is to help our customer become better and achieve new goals. This includes fuel flexibility that enables the operation of green fuels, solutions that reduce emissions to meet the demands of society and the ever-changing legislation, increase overall efficiency and improve efficiency.
R&D in M&U develops the solutions to achieve this and packages them in service products for the global gas turbine fleet.
We are looking for someone to become our key engineer in functional and machine safety for gas turbine upgrades - now or in the future depending on your experience.
Your profile
* Master's degree or bachelor in related engineering area or equivalent experience.
* You have competence in machine safety on a level to be able to perform a CE marking and declaration of conformity or declaration for incorporation when upgrading a turbine plant or have a big interest in this type of questions and want to work with this in the future.
* It is beneficial if you have general knowledge of Gas, Steam turbines or experience from the process industry .
* You are comfortable in using English.
* Ability to structure your work and good planning skills.
Your responsibilitites
The work with service products and machine safety in both development projects and order projects will involve many different technical areas and turbine types. In some cases, you will contribute with your specific expert knowledge and in other have a coordinating role. New challenges are a normal part of the work which make it versatile and personally developing.
* To become our key engineer in functional and machine safety for gas turbine upgrades, now or in the future depending on your experience.
* To drive and perform risk analyzes according to the machinery directive, with the help of HAZOP, FMEA etc. When you are ready, support the engineers and sub project managers in questions about functional and machine safety.
* Your job is also to develop and be responsible for the work within the functional and machine safety area.
* Participate in the development and maintenance of service products.
