We are looking for a passionate engineer to strengthen our team in the growing field of complete vehicles! We offer you varied work content, a good team spirit and fast pace. The Vehicle group is responsible for all system level activities at AVL Sweden, ranging from powertrain feature validation and analysis to prototype vehicle builds. Our area covers both conventional powertrains, where we have significant business volumes, as well as electrified powertrains and battery vehicles, the share of which is growing quickly. You will help drive the ongoing transition towards electrification and autonomous drive where there are many exciting opportunities!
* Plan and perform tests on complete vehicles, such as exhaust emissions investigations, including result evaluation and presentation.
* Manage testing according to applicable vehicle regulations.
* Work in a team to build and integrate systems into prototype and test vehicles.
* Configure and troubleshoot vehicle systems, vehicle electronics and communication protocols.
* Support the vehicle team in areas of vehicle/system level measurements & analysis.
* Build and maintain a contact network within global AVL.
* Projects are executed both in-house and at costumer locations.
• You have passion for technology and want to work broadly with different disciplines relevant to modern vehicle development.
* M.Sc. in Vehicle Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
* You are a practical and a hands-on person with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Experience in powertrain development and mechatronics is of merit.
* You are results-oriented and analytical. Curiosity and eagerness to learn is crucial since we work with all vehicle categories and customers. From ships to trucks to passenger cars, two wheelers and more!
* You like a flexible, fast paced environment.
* Well organized and enthusiastic team member that can lead the work forward
* Drivers license B (C and/or D is of merit)
