We are now looking for an Engineer CAE Vehicle Dynamics!



Description

Position located within the Steering & Suspension Systems team, which is part of the unit Chassis Propulsion Thermal. You will be part of a team that currently consists of four engineers, with your primary responsibility for Vehicle Dynamics. You primarily collaborates internally with engineers, designers and technical specialists and externally with suppliers.

Your main task should be deep studies of suspension axle loads (strength and durability events) and suggest improvements, by working in Adams Car and other internal softwares according NEVS methods. In addition, your tasks will be to develop and correlate CAE models in the vehicle dynamics area like suspension geometry, tuning parts and sensitivity studies for running vehicle programs and of future platforms.



The role as Engineer CAE Vehicle Dynamics involves:

- Build up simulation models, full vehicle and systems
- Prepare CAE models and correlate them based on physical measurements (e.g. durability and strength loads, F-Tire/Magic Formula, K&C).
- Cooperate with Vehicle Dynamics Development engineers regarding suspension and vehicle performance data
- Develop and communicate results and suggest solutions within your area
- Develop and define suspension interfaces requirements, locally within system and global vehicle requirements.
- Methodology development Vehicle Dynamics Simulation.

We are looking for someone who has:

- University engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience within CAE Vehicle Dynamics area, minimum 5 years
- Knowledge in Adams Car, Matlab, Simulink
- Knowledge of HEEDS and IPG Car Maker is beneficial
- Driver license B
- English, both spoken and written
