Position description:
Research and Development creates and develops the next generation outstanding luxury cars. Seats is part of the Interior and Climate department and develops the interiors of all our cars with responsibility for the complete design process from concept development to industrialization. The development work is mainly performed in Gothenburg.
Design and development in CAD. Produces illustrations and split views. Experience in automotive design discipline. Good knowledge of modern materials and manufacturing processes. Works very independently and has the ability to take initiative and be flexible and adaptable. Supports component design within all areas.
Front seat packaging of foam, plastic, comfort systems and structure. Generate restriction models and safeguard packaging in seat and vehicle. Having continuous dialogue with Supplier, design and KU to reach the team targets.
Drive design/technical issues to solution!
Job description:
As a Senior Catia Design Engineering for Seats you will be working in a project team together with KU's and SU's. You will have close cooperation with the suppliers Resident engineers and need to have a lot of drive and positive energy supporting the team with packaging checks, clash analysis, design ideas/proposals to solve technical issues, releasing drawings and models in TCe.
Organization:
You will be organized in the Seat structure group within the section Seats in Interior department. In your role you will work through the complete section and will manage complete system packaging of Seat structure, plastic parts, electrical harness, upholstery and foams.

VCC experience
Plastic design experience
