Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills for new technologies and innovations. We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products suitable for volume production. For that purpose we need to strengthen our Chassis testing & validation team at Vehicle Integration & Validation.
We are now looking for an Engineer, Brake Test & Validation!
Description
The Chassi testing & validation team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Vehicle Integration & Testing Organization. You will be part of a strong team and will work with supplying the internal manufacturing of development hardware. In your role you will work both with internal and external customers as well as with cooperation partners. You will report to the Manager over Chassi- testing & validation team
The role as Engineer for Brake Test & Validation involves:
• Technical communication throughout the product life cycle.
• Supporting the projects and chassis testing / design both theoretically and practically.
• Work actively with weight savings & cost savings during the life cycle.
• Together with the technicians, preparation and equipment of the test object (with eg measuring equipment).
• Delivering at the right time, at the right cost and at right quality.
• Responsibility for the test reports are the deliverance of them on time.
• Responsible for VAP: s around the brake / braking system.
• Responsible for testing according to specifications and applicable certification requirements.
• Working closely with designers and suppliers regarding braking systems.
• Act as test leader during expeditions.
• Being comfortable with new measurement methods and equipment, Curious about technological innovations
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
• Minimum education of High School or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience, preferably minimum 5 years.
• Very knowledge in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B, C/CE is a plus.

• Be meticulous and structured.
• Be able to work independently under stressful conditions.
• Have a talent for functional and technical thinking
• Be comfortable with new measurement methods and equipment.
• Be curious about technological innovation.
• Have customer focus.
