We are now looking for a new function developer to help us develop the future engine control systems for Scania's otto engines.

• Developing software functionality for new and existing control systems, diagnostic functions, and other logic in the engine control system
• Testing your developed functions in simulation tools, engine testbed, in a truck, on our test track, or in real traffic

Your profile

We believe you have a master of science or higher education in mechatronics, computer science, automotive or similar. We also think you:

• Have a positive attitude and like new challenges, large and small

Knowledge in these areas is meritorious:

• Knowledge of internal combustion engine physics and control
• Experience in system modeling, control theory, and signal processing
• Simulation and scripting in Matlab/Simulink or similar programs

We offer

Our team is responsible for a wide area of functionality for Scania's otto engines offering many possible focus areas.

Our team consists of experienced engineers who continuously work together within the group, with other parts of Scania R&D and also other parts of the Traton organization, especially with MAN in Germany. We also regularly perform test expeditions in trucks in the northern parts of Sweden and other destinations such as the Alps for high-altitude testing, to get first-hand experience. We support our employees in getting C and CE driver's licenses.

As an engineer in our team, you have great possibilities to realize your ideas into real functions for our end product, affecting Scania's customers around the world. For an experienced engineer, our team is responsible for highly complex functionality and can offer you plenty of challenging tasks, and for a recently graduated engineer, you get the possibility to start your career in a world-class professional environment and a team with a very helpful atmosphere!
