Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE) is a sales business unit responsible for sales project, installation, and service of wind farms throughout the NCE regions. The Energy Control Coordinator team is part of the Service Department in Sweden, and they act as the role models for energy safety work. The ECC department consists of administrative ECCs working in the office, ECC Technical leads handling special cases and Field ECCs working in the local areas. We are now looking to expand our team with additional colleagues focusing on ECC administration, training and technical advisory with the skills to give professional directives regarding Hazardous Energy in relation to work performed in the electrical parts of the Wind Turbines.
Responsibilities
The aim of the role is to support the business in implementing the Electrical Safety/Control of Hazardous Energy program. The role is closely supporting the Electrical Safety Lead and is the first point of contact to technicians on both service- and construction sites. As a member of the Energy Control Coordinator team, you also get your specific role responsibility beside the general tasks. As a team we also support each other across the roles, why focus areas may change during periods of time. The main responsibilities are:
Support the Service organization and technicians in the field with questions related to Electrical Safety and LOTO
Create, review and approve LOTO instructions
Conduct regular audits, inspections and reviews as required by the Control of Hazardous Energy Program and Investigate and improve technical solutions
Administer the company's electrical safety program
Review WTG inspections and approve before first energization
Specific ECC Technical Lead responsibilities are handling special cases with troubleshooting SWGs and investigating reported HV-related issues and training and support Field ECC (including SWG maintenance, relay related tasks, LV & HV walkdowns, and practical HV transformer inspections)
Specific ECC Instructor responsibilities are performing electrical training of technicians, both in classroom and out on the sites ESQ, LOTO and HV trainings (Vestas Instructor Training)
Qualifications
Skilled in electrical labour with work experience corresponding to B level technician within Vestas
A minimum of two years of work experience as an electrical worker
Prior Formal Electrotechnical Education
Good level of computer knowledge such as Microsoft Office package
Knowledge of EN50110, ELSÄK and relevant national standards is beneficial
National Authorization is a merit
Experience with High Voltage equipment and testing tools (Omicron or Sverker) or Low Voltage Installation testing tools is a merit
Competencies
High level of safety awareness acting as a role model in safe behaviour
Team-oriented with good people and relationship-building skills
Motivated and engaged in planning and organizing your own working day
Ability to analyse the risks and critical situations that electrical work can cause
Capacity to get involved in complex technical issues
Good presentation and communication skills

Work location is flexible and can be based out of one of our local warehouses around Sweden. When conducting trainings and/or support for colleagues you will be targeting the whole of Sweden and regular traveling is to be expected.
