About the Role
You will work close to the practical side of powertrain development in an advanced automotive environment focused on hybrid and combustion technology. In this role, you help ensure that test vehicles, workshops and the emission lab are prepared for accurate and efficient testing, while supporting engineers with the technical information they need to move development forward.
The role combines mechanics, electronics and vehicle software. You will coordinate preparation, update software in test cars, handle diagnostics and support the aging of exhaust after-treatment systems based on testing needs. You will also collaborate with project leaders, workshop teams and external partners to keep activities running smoothly.

Job DescriptionYou will prepare and write work orders for emission testing in the lab and make sure everything is ready before testing starts.
You will create and coordinate work orders for the workshop, secure the required parts and information, and make sure vehicles are available for the planned work.
You will update software in test cars and ensure the correct INCA setup and DCMs are used during testing.
You will read and analyze fault codes using the right diagnostic tools and communicate findings to engineers.
You will ensure aging of the exhaust after-treatment system is carried out according to the requester's instructions.
You will take part in technical meetings when needed and contribute to planning and coordination across ongoing projects.
RequirementsEducation in automotive engineering with a focus on passenger cars.
3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry in cars and rigs.
Experience from the automotive industry combining advanced mechanics and electronics in vehicles or rigs.
Solid knowledge of advanced mechanics and electronics in vehicles or rigs.
Good diagnostic skills and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technology, including electrical and hybrid systems.
Good understanding of how software is structured in modern cars.
Knowledge of DSA, INCA and CANalyzer.
Ability to work with modern IT, including diagnostic tools and vehicle data management.
Ability to plan and coordinate work orders with workshops and emission testing labs.
A careful and analytical way of working, with strong focus on vehicle safety and function.
