We are now looking for a Purchaser to join our team at our HQ in Lund, Sweden. Join our team and together we will continue to deliver great products around the world.
Who is your future team?
We are 20 talented and devoted persons within our Material Supply team, responsible for Axis product availability at our 7 sites around the world. We work close together and cross functionally in the supply chain, planning and optimizing our product availability to the right time and place - Maximizing our sales opportunities and minimizing risks. Together we are a creative and ambitious team where we make things happen!
What you'll do here as EMS Purchaser
Our EMS purchasers work with our biggest suppliers - the contract manufacturers. As EMS Purchaser you are responsible for your own product categories where your responsibility is to balance, optimize and coordinate the procurement. To manage this you will need to interpret and analyze existing and expected demand together with supply capabilities. Set a strategy, act and take decisions both short-and long term. You will also work closely with a broad network of both internal and external interfaces - sharing and requiring both input and output. As EMS Purchaser you plan the procurement in all product lifecycle phases, product development projects and sales opportunities. Your primary planning tools are BI-applications, ERP system and your own analysis sheets.
Duties include:
• Supply Planning - Optimize and ensure product availability to meet our customers demand on time
* Release and coordinate orders
* Identify and act on supply deviations and/or gaps
* Balance and plan material availability
* Inventory management
* Weekly and monthly supply review meetings with EMS's and product development projects
* Analyze and monitor related KPIs and data
* Initiate and drive improvement activities for supplier performance and collaboration as well as internal process development

We'd love to hear that you have:
* Master or bachelor's degree in relevant area
* Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience
* Experience working in an ERP system, preferably IFS or similar
* A great interest in BI systems and data analysis
* Good supply chain knowledge
* Fluency in English
Bonus points for:
* Experience from working with EMS's
* Extended Excel skills
