Objectives
Responsible for providing successful solutions to resourcing issues based on recruitment expertise. Manage recruitment enquiries and campaigns as required by managers. Find, select and match candidates to roles to meet the business resource plan. Provide value add by applying functional knowledge, experience and judgement to achieve solutions which support delivery of cost effective, accurate and timely transactions. Also responsible for providing successful solutions to employee relations issues based on employment law expertise. Manage and resolve employee relations enquiries and cases raised by employees and managers, most of which will have been escalated by the HR Services contact team. Provide support within industrial relations area. Provide value add by applying functional knowledge, experience and judgement to achieve solutions which support optimal business performance.
Key Operational Responsibilities
• Plan annual recruitment activity according to business resource plans: schedule and attend recruitment events and liaise with external suppliers to plan campaigns
• Co-ordinate resourcing activity in line with business demand, support and advise managers throughout the resourcing process, design advertising strategy/adverts and manage applicant relationship
• Manage resourcing process including screening, interviewing and provision of advice on selection methods
• Provide accurate recruitment advice to line managers and colleagues, and resolve resourcing issues escalated by the HR Service team in a timely manner
• Identify opportunities for and participate in service improvement projects
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of legislation relating to employment law relevant to the country
• Provide accurate employee advice to line managers, employees and HR colleagues based on the company's policies, employment legislation and local practice agreements
• Resolve issues escalated from the HR Service team, either through own knowledge or through discussion with Centre of Expertise team
• Provide remote or on site support for specific cases, and inform/involve Business Partners as necessary
• Liaise with legal team/ HR Country Manager for complex cases where expert input is needed
• Support managers and HR Business Partners / Country HR Manager/ Centre of Expertise teams in completing industrial relations activities
• Maintain up to date knowledge bank for reference by other members of the team
• Analyse trends in employment issues handled through HR Services, and identify areas for potential process/policy/tool improvement, driving process improvement initiatives as appropriate
• Work closely with Business Partners to calculate the people costs of change
Competencies needed
• University degree, preferably in the field of HR
• Significant experience in HR, in particular in all aspects of resourcing and talent planning as well as in employee and industrial relations
• Ability to resolve complex issues raised by business and HR colleagues
• Good knowlegde of local labour law
• A deep belief in personal ability to make a valuable difference to the business and a deep sense of core values that drive behaviour
• Independency and self-confidence
• Profound knowledge and understanding of the business and what drives performance
• Ability to build and manage deep, strong and trusting relationships with business and HR colleagues
• A clear focus on being flexible and creative in providing solutions to gain buy-in and to deliver a business outcome
• Fluent knowledge of English and Swedish (knowledge of other European languages will be an asset)
• Willingness to travel within and outside Sweden (if needed)
