The section Powertrain OBD and Dependability has the mission to ensure that the development of the next generation engines reflects our brand essence of 'Designed Around You'. We are responsible for ensuring that all legal and costumer attributes regarding OBD and Powertrain dependability is met. Our group consists of 15 dedicated engineers and is mainly working with emission and OBD pre-homologation for all markets and in all projects. We are looking for you who will join the development of next generations more efficient and environmental friendly drivelines. China is a growing market and consequently we have a lot of cooperation with the China organization.
As an Emission Verification Engineer you will perform emission verification before homologation. You will work with both hybrids, petrol's, diesel and pure electrical vehicles. The area of responsibility is to plan and coordinate verification activities, analyse, summarize and present the results. You will work in an ambitious team and have a close cooperation with project managers, attribute leaders, people working in the workshops, laboratories and the homologation department. Therefore it is important with social skills and an ability to network. We offer you great development opportunities within an exciting role.
Main responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate verification activities in homologation vehicles
* Analyse, summarise and present the results
* Check that legal requirements are fulfilled
Required qualifications
* B.Sc or M.Sc. in Engineering, or equivalent work experience in relevant field
* Skilled engineer with experience from working with verification/calibration/testing of emissions or driven newly-examined engineer
* Knowledge in testing prerequisites for emissions worldwide
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Swedish driving license class B
* Experience in handling tools as INCA PC is meritorious
* Good at Excel-macros (VBA) is meritorious

* Good interpersonal and communicational skills
