The Finance Organization
As part of the Finance organization, you will be in a unique position to impact the future direction the company takes. With approximately 40,000 customers worldwide you will have access to a rich user community to help inform your decisions. This is a specialist role dealing with detailed reporting and regulatory requirements. Working within a talented team, adaptability and a professional attitude are as important as the skills needed for the role. Attention to detail and a determination to maintain a high quality of work is essential.
How you will spend your time as our next Regional Accountant - Southern EMEA
As a Regional Accountant and team member of our Account Shared Services team, you will have significant impact on our company's growth and success. The Regional Accountant role will have responsibility for all local regulatory statutory filings across multiple Qlik legal entities. Specifically, this role will be responsible for supporting accounting activities related to Qliktech France,Qliktech Italy, Qliktech Netherlands and Vizubi.
• Statutory responsibility for Financial reporting, audits, local books and bridging between US accounting and local accounting, being support by local 3rd party agencies.
• Local Tax support, engaging with Corporate Tax.
• Responsible for ensuring all local regulatory reporting completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Review of local and management books.
• Review payroll ensuring completeness and accuracy of monthly payroll submission to ADP.
• Support Accounts Payable function providing guidance within local regions and dealing with exceptions/escalations.
• Partner with SSC GL team on reviewing monthly P&L results to ensure accurate monthly closings.
• Coordinate directly with local regulators (tax/audit) for any financial statement, tax or VAT audits. This role will partner with SSC accounting team and tax department to fill audit requests from local auditors/regulators.
• Go to trusted advisor for local guidance for systems - Netsuite, Concur, etc.
• Additional project work identified and required by the business.

You will thrive if you have
• Education to Bachelor level or equivalent
• Business level English (mandatory)
• 3-7 years professional experience preferable ideally in comparable role
• Background in a technology, business or related field preferred
• Good customer service experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Knowledge in French is a big plus
