We are recruiting for an EMEA Category Manager for Electric Hobs business in our Global HQ in Stockholm.
It is an exciting and profitable business with a tournover of 2.1 bil euro a year. As owner of the Electric Hob business in EMEA the main objectives of this position is to develop and deploy a successful commercial strategy for the product categories, ensuring timely creation of innovative features and products, effective ranging, strong product messaging, effective launch strategy and execution, based on deep understanding of market , competitors and retail dynamics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full P&L Responsibility for the product categories in Europe and Egypt Monitor market, competitor and financial development for the category total / brand / cluster ) and propose actions to reach targets through the Commercial Triangle with Sales and Marketing - Create compelling Product Value Propositions and drive New Product Development in Innovation Triangles together with R&D
• Marketing and Design . Develop and own the product category Strategic Plan as part of the overall Product Line Strategic Plan
• Define Generation Plan based on Consumer Insights, Market development, and Brand Attributes
• Build and execute the 5 year cycle plan through the Integrated Product Planning (IPP) for the categories
• Strategic pricing and sweet spots identification together with cluster PL (Going Price, Net Sales, Transfer Price, Standard Cost) - Owner of Product Life Cycle - cradle to grave: opportunities, concepts, specs, profitability, phase-in/phase-out, and responsible for reducing complexity
• EMEA Range model catalogue definition including Target launch Price, unique selling proposition, secondary benefits, etc.
• Responsible for Range and commercial strategy definition in all Clusters, together with Cluster Product Line Heads
• Drive new business opportunities, and address gaps, together with Brand & Marketing and Clusters

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• We are looking for a proven Business Leader able to drive the business in line with the overall strategic direction, combining strong analytical skills, commercial aptitude and capability to see the big picture
• Team player, able to influence and motivate others in a complex matrix organization
• Good communicator, builds networks and can leverage resources from different areas to work together towards overall objectives
• Be the positive role model in understanding and fulfilling the customer needs
• Self-starter with proven track record of delivering strong results
• Strong project management skills, is able to plan and prioritize
• Comfortable with and can drive change
• Experience in managing remote teams Preferred Career

EXPERIENCE:

• 8 - 10 years of experience in marketing and/or commercial areas and/or product development with international exposure
• Experience in more than one function in manufacturing companies (home appliances, consumer electronics, automotive etc.) is considered as a strong plus

EDUCATION:

• University / Business School or equivalent

REQUIRED LANGUAGES

• English mandatory, all others are a plus
