Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values - customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste - are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Role Summary
Our electrification journey is accelerating, and the electrification of transmissions plays a key role in this transition. Our team, responsible for EMC solutions for electrical drivelines and electric motor testing, is expanding, and we are looking for curious and committed minds to drive innovation.
Are you an expert in high-frequency simulation? Do you have experience in circulating currents in electrical drivelines and want to contribute to developing the market's best electrified products? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
In this role, you will:
Develop and optimize EMC solutions for electrical drivelines using high-frequency simulation.
Conduct and analyze simulations of electric machines and drive systems.
Work with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for electrical components.
Collaborate with experts across different teams and external partners.
Drive technical development and contribute to Scania's electrification strategy.

Who You Are
As part of our team, you will gain a unique holistic perspective on how electrified vehicles are used by customers. We are looking for someone who is:
Proactive and solution-oriented - You take initiative, work in a structured way, and take responsibility for your tasks.
Technically passionate - You have a deep technical understanding and want to apply your knowledge to real-world solutions.
Collaborative - You enjoy working in teams and sharing knowledge with others.

Your Background:
A degree in engineering, preferably a Master's or PhD in a relevant field.
Specialization in high-frequency analysis of electrical drivelines.
Strong knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for electrical components.
Experience in finite element analysis (FEA) and Simulink modeling is an advantage.
Understanding of electric motors and power electronics is a plus.
Excellent English communication skills, Swedish is a bonus.

This Is Us
With us, you'll have the opportunity to learn new technologies and build a strong network within TRATON. You'll be working in an agile environment where you'll have the chance to have a major impact on both technology and working methods. For our team, openness and mutual trust are essential-that's how we create a positive work environment.
