hela Sverige The group Architecture & Technology integration at Advanced Technology and Research (BF40740) is responsible for developing system-level technologies related to future versions of the electrical and electronic architecture up until technology readiness level (TRL) 6. This means that we shall maintain a holistic perspective on the electronic architecture, rather than focusing on individual hardware or software components, and provide future product development projects with competitive solutions for the EE architecture.
More specifically, we are responsible for research and technology development in the following topics:
• Wired communication
• Physical architecture
• Functionality (logical) architecture
• Functional safety
• Data security
In addition, the group is responsible for integrating technologies developed in the whole department into a platform representing a vision of the future electrical and electronic architecture.
Job description
As an embedded systems engineer you will contribute to maturing new technologies, related to the topics of the group (listed above) that will eventually build up the physical and functionality (logical) architectures of our future trucks. Your work will focus on prototype implementations of such technologies. The prototyping tasks typically range from setting up and elaborating on the hardware platform (but not designing the hardware itself) to embedded programming and simulation. You may also assist other colleagues from the hardware and embedded software group to integrate their newly matured technologies into a common prototype of our future electrical and electronic architecture.
Profile and qualifications
• MSc or BSc in Electrical engineering, Computer systems or equivalent
• Good understanding and command of embedded programming
• Experience in simulation and common simulation tools, such as Matlab/Simulink
• Knowledge and experience in AUTOSAR is preferred
• Visionary but still pragmatic
• Exploratory and innovative desire with the ability to drive things to completion
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
