The Opportunity
As part of a driven team you will develop all kinds of embedded solutions in modules and functions on the Beijer Electronics proprietary products. Together with stakeholders, you and the proud team will be helping bring a product from idea through requirements, design, prototyping, code development, design verification and validation. We expect you to contribute with ideas and out-of-box thinking.
The successful applicant
We are looking for a Software Developer with great skills in C programming language and experience in hardware closed solutions and implementations.
You must have interest and knowledge in ARM Cortex architecture within Multi core and Multi-threading technology with different memory and bus/interface adaptions.
You have experience with different RTOS; Windows Embedded is required but it is considered a big advantage if you have knowledge in Embedded Linux (Yocto), IoS or Android technologies.
Knowledge in C++, C#, Java & Pearl as secondary qualifications.
It would also be valuable if the applicant has worked in an agile environment and has experience in management of software in a continuous Product Life Cycle.
We require at least a relevant Bachelor?s degree or equivalent education for this role. Since we work in an international environment, excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Communication in Swedish or German is an advantage but not a requirement.
The role as Software Engineer is collaborative and requires great communication skills and the ability to interact with people in a diverse environment. As a person you should be structured and strive for clean code and value the power of designing for testability. You must have a natural strong drive and high level of ambitions, but still be humble and easy to interact with as well as eager to learn.
