You will be joining a team with high ambitions and who is continuously improving the embedded software platform, tools and continuous integration framework to achieve faster, leaner more stable software development. We are working with autonomous agile teams, who take full responsibility for their deliveries. You will join a dynamic team with the target to develop the most efficient embedded software framework, which is used by more than 300 application software engineers when developing software features for our customers.
In other words we are a team delivering great enablers for our customer success.
Together we develop the solutions for the world's future sustainable and automatized transportation.
Your role:
Specify, design, develop, verify and integrate Embedded software solutions enabling new capabilities in our in-house designed Basic SW (including actuators/sensors, diagnostic, scheduling, communication, injections and more)
Contribute to infrastructure, tools and evolution of our Continuous Integration framework
Working with enthusiastic engineers and be an active part of our Agile journey

Who are you
You have a BSc/MSc or similar experience in Embedded Software and/or electronics
You are fluent in embedded real time systems programing, having skills in different languages such as C, Python, XML or similar
It is important that you have competences and experience in areas like embedded software architecture, design and verification, ideally in a multicore CPU environment. It is beneficial if you have used oscilloscope and Lauterbach debuggers
We are working in a global environment, so you need to have good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
The role includes both teamwork and independent work so you need to have experience from both. You can work easily in a team and can also perform more independent work when needed
As a person you are open-minded, pro-active, provide ideas and drive them
You will join our Software development center located in Göteborg (Lundby) and you will collaborate daily with our colleagues in Hagerstown (USA), Curitiba (Brazil), Ageo (Japan), India, China and Lyon (France). To achieve your mission and build your network you will also be travelling occasionally
