The Swedish Micropower Group is a world market leader in battery charges and power supplies, consisting of nine companies with activities in Europe, USA and Asia. Their companies develop, produce and market a complete range of unique solutions for optimized battery chargers, power supplies and modular lithium-ion batteries. The headquarters are located in Växjö as well as the majority of production and other departments. Located in Gothenburg, Micropower Lionova is an R&D branch within the group that focus on the development on lithium batteries. To continue their expanse, they are looking for their new technical colleagues to contribute to their growth. Dina arbetsuppgifterWork tasks
As an Embedded Software Engineer your main focus is to design and implement software of embedded devices and systems for the cutting-edge lithium batteries and power supplies. This entails tasks as developing, coding, testing and debugging software- always with the focus to enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of the systems resources. You work closely together with colleagues in Gothenburg and Växjö and have a close collaboration with the customers in creating the description of construction for the software. As you grow into your role you will become an important part of the company and is expected to contribute to the continued development of the products and business.
KvalifikationerEducation, experience and personal qualities
• Master of Science in Software Development or equivalent experience
• Some years of development experience, preferably in C
• You have a good understanding of real time type applications, CAN-communication and UART type applications
• You are fluent in English, Swedish is meritorious
We believe you are a curious person with a wide technical interest. You are used to taking responsibility for your own work and can plan your tasks in an efficient way. Your technical interest means that you are always on the lookout for new technology and you like to be involved in a fastmoving company where you can continuously affect the development. You see problems as a puzzle to be solved and strives to use your own experience as well as collaborate with others to find new solutions. It is meritorious if you have previous experience from a start-up company as this mindset truly permeate Micropower Lionova. A lot of consideration will be taken to the personal qualities for this role.
