• Develop and maintain embedded code for our robot systems
• Develop and maintain the software that constitutes the infrastructure of our vision systems
Other responsibilities:
• Set up, maintain and run a cross-compiling software tool chain
• Develop and support tools for computer vision development work and data analysis
• Maintain and manage installation of an embedded Linux distribution
Qualifications:
MSc / BSc with software development focus or equivalent experience.
You have good knowledge of:
C/C++, Java, Linux.
Interest in and experience of Linux development for embedded systems.
Team player - we work in tight teams, and this position requires the ability to work in close cooperation with other software engineers.
A structured approach to software development in general and an eye for good software architecture.
Good to have: Jenkins, Qt, Shell Script, GNU Toolchain, Shell Script, Socket programming, Buildroot, Yocto or equivalent, experience from agile way of working
Who you are:
You should be goal oriented and have a structured way of approaching challenges.
You can take initiatives and are accustomed to work in groups as well as independently.
You need to be fluent in English, writing as well as speaking.
You probably have a driving license.

This team is responsible for vision systems and robot control on their full range of automatic milking products. In this role you work with the robots that are frequently used in daily work, and the development, testing and acceptance is often done in a real environment at our own test farm close to the office. Going from the office to the barn to understand what works and what doesn't will absolutely be a natural part of the job. This team's responsibility is to design and deliver high quality new and improved functions, as well as maintaining and improving quality in existing robots to help the farmer around the clock.
