WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software and firmware for electric vehicles. You will be involved in the complete development process: from concept and ideas, through planning, proof of concept, analysis and validation of technical requirements, system design and testing, to production.
You will:
Set system requirements together with the customer.
Test and verify software.
Secure fulfilment of requirements
Program electric vehicles ECUs.
Develop drivers in Linux kernel and user space.
Complete engineering documentation.
Research within the field.
Collaborate closely with our electronics team for firmware development.
Audit and improve processes.

WHO ARE YOU?
You have a degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 6 years of professional experience within the field. You have a sincere technological interest and the ability to analyze data and propose design solutions, including planning, task prioritization and coordinating your daily schedule to solve problems effectively.
Knowledge and experience with the following are essential:
Driver development on Linux kernel and user space (for PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, eMMC, Wi-Fi or 4G/5G cellular).
Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience with embedded Linux.
Experience with ARM microcontrollers (NXP, STM32).
Embedded C and C++ programming.
TCP/IP communication stack.
Version control with GitHub.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is also essential.
Experience with the following would be an advantage:
Vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, MOST, SPI, I2C).
Experience in automotive embedded software.
MISRA C and embedded software development guidelines.
Experience in Cloud development and OTA.
Hands-on experience with drive systems (inverter, converter, e-motor, HV battery).
Tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, ECAD
