We are now looking for Embedded Software Engineers!

Description

We need to broaden our team with software engineers who wants to be part of the software development of our future products and services. The work will span over a great variety of different functionalities and domains based the project needs and priorities, for example system and fault management, over the air software updates, diagnostics, bootloaders, connected car functionalities, user interface and body functionalities. It will range from implementation of device drivers, configuration of basic software to development of fantastic software solutions at the application layer.

Based on your experience and aims, there will be great opportunities to find areas and tasks that suits and interest you.

We are searching for embedded software engineers with a broad competence in the area of software engineering and/or computer science. You should preferable have good Software Architecture skills and have the ability to work at several layers of the embedded software.

Previous experience from embedded software development within connectivity or connected vehicle solutions is highly appreciated.

You will be part of the Chapter Embedded Software, which is one of four teams within the Software Tribe. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future.

The role involves:

- Design and software development of connected vehicle functionalities.
- Development and analysis of design solutions
- Configuration of Autosar BSW, MCAL and RTOS
- Requirement identification and analysis
- Software Builds and Build Environment
- Collaboration with NEVS engineers at different departments and locations

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Expertise in embedded C/C++ programming
- Good understanding of Real-Time Operating Systems
- Good knowledge in Software Architecture and Software Design
- Good understanding of Autosar Classic and/or Autosar Adaptive
- Good understanding of build environments and building software
- Good understanding of multi-core controllers
- Preferably good knowledge of ISO 26262 and working with safety critical software
- Preferably good knowledge in UDP and TCP/IP or SomeIP communication over Ethernet
- Ability to share knowledge with colleagues
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
