Roles and Responsibilities
If you a have a true interest in software development and are passionate about quality this will be a job opportunity that fits you well. A structured way of working and communication skills will be great assets in this position.
The main mission is to secure that the delivered software meet the defined requirements and that the long term vision for the software is fulfilled. Your key responsibilities will be:
Track and receive deliveries of developed software components from the development teams.
Perform integration testing prior to release
Coordinate release activities with internal and external stakeholders
Document the released software in Volvo systems (Kola, Configurator, SEWS2...).
Assist the Safe & Efficient Driving (SED) Release Manager with technical integration results intended for release notes.
You will be part of the Safe & Efficient Driving Test & Release Team and report to the Data, Test & Release manager
How to succeed
We believe you have a structured way of working and a quality mindset. It is vital to be able to build good relations and collaborate with colleagues globally and therefore we believe that you would have excellent English communication skills. It's also important that you are able to work independently and take own initiatives.
We even expect you to, together with the rest of the team, identify improvements and define how to shape the release process for future generation products.
The location for the position is Gothenburg, Sweden If you are based in another location, but your skills are a good fit, we strongly encourage you to apply anyway. Relocation support can be provided if needed.
