As an Embedded Software Developer your main focus will be software design for vehicles' internal systems. You will be part of defining the software architecture, develop software structure and configuration, diagnostics and other relevant software levels to concerned components and systems.
The position includes ensuring the quality and delivery of a complete input/output controller ECU in the customers' future vehicles.
This unit is a central part of the new software & electronic platform, realizing important software functionality - both on system service and customer function level.
You will also contribute to building an automated workflow with continuous integration and testing of new software. When striving to deliver the optimal product, you will work in close collaboration with several expert competences - both within and outside the team. Together with the team's own broad area of expertise, this will benefit your long-term development and expand your knowledge within many different fields.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
To succeed in this role, you:
Have a B.Sc. or equivalent within Computer Engineering or a similar educational background. An M.Sc. is extra meritorious.
Have excellent communications skills both written and spoken in English.
Collaborate well with your colleagues and are open to share your expertise. You also have no problem stating your own opinion and setting high standards when collaborating with internal and external contacts.
The following areas are appreciated but not mandatory:
Knowledge within Autosar, Vector tools and Matlab/Simulink.
Knowledge within continuous integration and automation.
We also believe that you are a driven and ambitious engineer that works just as well in teams as independently. You work in a structural and qualitative way and has an analytical mindset that helps you complete complex engineering tasks.

The company operates within the automotive industry and the team works with developing internal systems. They develop and maintain body controllers, I/O controllers, electrical power distribution units and electrical power supply - hardware as well as software. They work with solutions from early concept to industrialization and follow-up in the field.
They are dedicated to building cross-functional and empowered teams and an agile environment where they learn every day, challenge each other and give continuous feedback.
They are now looking for a software developer to join their agile development team on their exciting journey!
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that the assignment will result in a permanent position at the client company after a duration of about 6-12 months.
