About the role
One of our clients are embarking on a product project to develop a replacement for their current electronic unit, which has been on the market for several years. This project involves replacing all active components in the electronics with modern equivalents, including the software platform. As part of this upgrade, they are enhancing the user interface and incorporating two new communication protocols demanded by the market. To ensure the quality of the product, testing will be a critical aspect.
Responsibilities:
* Planning and executing testing activities
* Defining test cases
* Setting up equipment and instruments for testing
* Conducting various tests including functional, long-term, communication, software, and environmental tests
* Reporting and documenting test results
* Providing support to other projects and product areas as needed
About you
If you are a passionate engineer and ready to bring your skills to the next level, we encourage you to apply and become a part of our team.
We 're looking for candidates with a Bachelor 's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in testing electronic systems, particularly in manufacturing or industrial contexts. You should excel in test planning, case definition, and execution, and have a knack for efficiently using testing equipment. Your expertise should extend to system-level functional, communication, software, and environmental testing, with familiarity in certifications like EMC, LVD, and communication tests.
Additional preferred skills:
* Experience with System-On-Chip (SoC) solutions, particularly AMD/Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC
* Proficiency in C++ programming language
* Familiarity with VxWorks operating system
* Knowledge of fieldbus communication protocols and communication module integration
Collaboration is key, but we also value your ability to work independently. Strong communication and documentation skills are a must, and proficiency in Swedish and English is essential for effective team communication.
