JOB DESCRIPTION
The Electronics Team is looking for an Electronics Lab Engineer with a genuine interest in electronics. You will be responsible for our electronics lab and assist other engineers with modifications on products and prototypes, performing tests and verifications of the electronic design. You will also be responsible for keeping the lab in shape as well as ordering components and instruments. You will work in close cooperation with the Electronics Engineers.
The position involves limited traveling.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an engineer with a high school or a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, some related experience and a genuine interest in electronics. You have good experience in using different kinds of soldering stations and replacing a 0402 resistor is no problem for you. You know how to read schematics and how to handle different types of instruments such as multimeters, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
You are service minded, outgoing, have good communication skills in English and Swedish and an ability to work independently with a good feeling for details.
THE ELECTRONICS TEAM
The Electronics Team is part of the Electronics and Mechanics department. Together with PCB CAD and mechanical engineering teams we are responsible for the design and development of the complete hardware in Axis products. We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with other departments within R&D to develop our future products. The department is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products. We also work in close cooperation with units responsible for e.g. production, logistics, quality, support and product management.
