About the job:
Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for an electronics engineer who would like to be part of the future development of our products within the Shift By Wire area. As an electronics engineer, you will be part of a global team. You will have an important role in the development projects, working closely with engineers from systems, software and mechanics. The work will involve close contacts with colleagues, customers and suppliers worldwide.
Main responsibilities
In this position you will be responsible for:
* Development of electronics for embedded automotive systems such as Shift-By-Wire systems and actuators towards all major car- and truck brands.
* Your responsibility in the projects is to take care of the HW level requirement handling, architectural and detailed schematic design, design simulation and analysis.
Candidate profile:
We are looking for you with an MSc/BSc Engineering degree in electrical engineering or related fields of study in electronics. Experience from automotive industry; design for harsh environments, functional safety (ISO26262), EMC/ESD/ISO16750, requirements driven development is an advantage.
As a person you enjoy working in teams and have the ambitions of developing yourself and inspire your colleagues. Good English in writing and speech is a skill you must have since the work will be done together with international colleagues and customers.
