Cobolt AB is at the very forefront of the industry in the development and manufacture of high performance CW and Q-switched lasers. We are committed to supplying high performance and innovative lasers that meet or exceed the market's expectations concerning quality, reliability and robustness. We are now further expanding the R&D department and are therefore looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team.
As our Electronics Engineer you will work in close collaboration with software, mechanical and laser engineers. The tasks will include designing of mixed analog and digital electronics resulting in complete production documentation for laser systems ranging from IR, to visible, to UV. You will have responsibility for carrying out the complete electronic circuit design including assembly, verification and test of the hardware. Your work will consist of a combination of designing improvements on existing products, and new development.

We believe that you are a structured person who are used to, and enjoys, working in teams and communicating with others. We also believe that you have
MSc degree in electronic engineering, or similar
At least five years of working experience within development engineering
Strong knowledge of both analogue and digital design
Experience in working with microprocessors and microcontrollers such as ARM
Experience in meeting requirements on CE marking and certification processes like EMC and EMI
Fluent in English
Experience in working with PCB
About us Cobolt was founded in 2000 and is a spin-off from a research project at KTH. Our R&D department consists of eight people working within CAD, laser-, software- and electronic engineering. As an employer, we provide the perfect combination; as we are a well-established dynamic company which is still small enough to offer work in a very close and transparent environment. Our production and development are based on the same site in Solna, with 700m2 of cleanroom for production.
