SciBase is a Swedish MedTech company that has developed a unique point of care device for detection of skin cancer and skin-barrier related disorders. As the only company within the space that has an FDA-approved product, it is a pioneer within AI-based medical diagnostic products. Today, Scibase has offices in Sweden (Stockholm and Uppsala), Germany and the US.
The role
As the company is growing, SciBase need to strengthen their R&D team situated in Stockholm, (Sundbyberg) with an additional engineer within hardware electronics. In the position as Electronics Engineer you have a dynamic role, designing, testing and documenting both new products and modifications to existing products. The team aims at working in a cross functional manner so you will also be involved in other R&D activities such as software development-, regulatory compliance-, and production development projects. This is the perfect position if you want to develop your skills and gain experience within the MedTech industry.
About you
To succeed in this role, you are a driven team player who is not afraid of taking initiatives. You have a solution-oriented approach to problems, and you are comfortable with working independently.
Qualifications:
• Have a relevant engineering degree within Electrical engineering, MedTech or similar
• Have at least two years of experience in electronics design
• Are proficient in spoken and written Swedish and English
• Experience within Embedded systems, medical devices or programming is highly meritorious

Founded in 1998, SciBase is a Swedish medical technology company, headquartered in Stockholm, that has developed a unique point of care device for the detection of skin cancer (such as melanoma) and skin-barrier related disorders such as atopic dermatitis. The core purpose of the company is to improve patient care within skin diagnostics by developing and marketing innovative AI-based products based on the company's Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) technology.
