At the moment we are looking for the right person to fill an opening as Electronics Engineer for New Business projects. In this role you will get the best of both worlds! You will be the key electronics engineer in our New Business projects, but still gain of being a team member in the Electronic P&T team of R&D.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As project member at New Business you will have the pleasure to develop products for Axis upcoming success stories. You will be involved in all steps from early concept design to completed new products ready for launch. This comprises feasibility studies, create electronic design schematics, support our EMS partners with prototype production and perform tests and verifications.
Since we address new markets, one project to another will vary in scope, size and complexity. In your daily work you will interact with talented engineers in software, electronic, PCB CAD and mechanic. You will also have close relation to our business developers and get the opportunity to meet partners and customers to understand the market needs.
As part of the Electronics P&T team you will be able to interact with electronics engineers working in network video and Technology projects. In the team you will get continuously competence building through seminaries, courses and collaboration with Axis senior electronic engineers.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We expect you to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and have a genuine interest in electronic design. We believe you have previous experience from working in schematic capture programs, knowledge in EMC and appropriate standards.
To success with the projects, we expect you to have a strong personal drive and be open minded and innovative in your way to design and handle challenges. Teamwork is crucial for Axis as a whole so we believe it is important that you can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.
Experience from smaller companies or projects taking an idea to a completed product are considered as a merit.
OUR TEAMS
The New Business team is a unique group within Axis. The group is responsible for both evaluating new business ideas from a technical and a commercial perspective, and product development to offer customers the best products on the market. The team’s focus is on ideas outside Axis current focus on network video.
The Electronics P&T team is part of the Electronics and Mechanics department. Together with PCB CAD and mechanical engineering teams we are responsible for the design and development of the hardware in Axis products. We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with other departments within R&D to develop our future network video products.
