About the role
At Atos Medical, we are passionate about making life easier for people living with a neck stoma by providing personalized care and innovative solutions.
We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic Electronics Engineer with a great commitment to delivering on ambitious targets with a short time to market for development efforts. You will be a key player in our active device projects within new product development and improvements of current products. You will be contributing to all aspects of product development, from defining user needs to the final CE-marked product, launch and making incremental changes based on market feedback.
While continuing our mission to improve the everyday life of individuals breathing through a neck stoma, we are looking for the next star to join the team and launch the next phase in their career.
You will be part of an R&D team focusing on active devices within laryngectomy care, one of our two product areas, and you will report to the manager responsible for new product development. Our R&D facilities are located in Hörby, only 25 min north of Lund, but we apply a hybrid setup where part of the job can be carried out remotely.
Your responsibilities
• Execute and lead product lifecycle management activites for the active device category
• Cooperate with Design and Production engineers to meet volume production and demand
• Responsible for generating test requirement matrices and procedures to verify the outputs
• Design verification and validation, including the design of experiments and development of test methods
• Active member of a cross-functional team, engaging in meetings to review design, manufacturing procedures or quality-related issues
• Participate in generating design requirements, prototyping and design implementation
• Contribute to the collection, analysis and understanding of user- and business needs
• Translate user needs to new products
• Investigate and implement the use of new technologies
• Participate in risk management analysis and documentation

To be successful in the role of Electronics Engineer:
• You are newly graduated or have some years of experience as an electronics engineer
• You are an Innovative but structured problem solver with the skill to translate user needs into real products
• You like to work in teams: At Atos, the product development happens in cross-functional teams
• Experience in medical device development is an advantage. However, commitment and enthusiasm are more important
