The Digital Machining Innovation team - where we all share a passion for innovation and developing new solutions - is looking for an Electronics Engineer for the area Intelligent Machining - someone who thrives on developing technology platforms and products within embedded systems and cutting tools, supporting our intelligent machining products offer. The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden.

Key performance areas
As an Electronics Engineer you are involved in our development work of embedded HW and SW systems and electronics and your daily tasks include developing miniature electronic HW devices and software, as well as verifying the reliability, safety and robustness of our products. You investigate and participate in pinpointing customer demands and you formalize product features, services and requirement specifications within Intelligent Tools. Identifying and developing necessary technology platforms, products and services are a major part of your mission, and you have hands-on responsibility for performing laboratory and field tests, developing instructions as well as planning and training internal and external stakeholders. You also play an important part in the development of our working methods.

Additionally, you are actively engaged in technology monitoring and knowledge sharing and you use your experience to manage and guide graduates and interns in the field. Travel is included to some extent.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Masters' in Engineering within the areas of technical physics or electronics. You have at least three years' experience from designing electronics, such as communication modules, sensor's application and low energy devices. You have also knowledge about or worked actively with documentation and certification of electronic design. Knowledge and understanding of metal cutting processes and insight into the Coromant product portfolio are considered great advantages, as is previous experience from project management. As we operate in a global setting, we expect you to have great communication skills in English and in Swedish, in both speaking and writing.
