JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the Tech & Ref team you will work with development and verification of Reference design, which is the critical building blocks in Axis products. Since we support Axis companies and organisations outside Lund (Czech Republic, Japan and China) we need to strengthen our capability to support these organisations when they use our reference designs.
Your main task is to be the contact person for Reference design towards organizations outside Lund, this includes:
Technical discussions
Problem solving
Synchronize updates on designs
You will also work with:
Perform feasibility studies of electronic design and have contact with electronics suppliers
Create electronic design schematics
Order and follow up prototypes from EMS partners
Perform tests and verifications of electronic design
You will be responsible for the electronics design in the project from start to finish.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We expect you to have at least a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering and have good understanding of system level design of complex products combined with deep knowledge within both analog and digital design.
You have professional experience from working with all parts of the product development cycle ranging from early stages of conceptual and system level design, through the design and verification phase as well as final EMC and regulatory approvals. Designing electronics in schematic capture programs, hands-on verification of the electronics design in advanced lab environment is part of your everyday business. Experience from product development targeted for high volume production will be considered as a plus.
You are expected to have a good understanding of other areas within engineering and the ability to collaborate with other disciplines such as software and mechanical design teams. Whenever needed, you are also comfortable in taking a lead position in the design team and help others with planning and solving any issues in a proactive and efficient way.
We believe that you are a service minded, highly motivated and outgoing person with good communication skills in both English and Swedish. You have experience from working with different countries and cultures, are able to work efficiently individually with limited supervision as well as within a team with highly skilled engineers.
THE ELECTRONICS TEAM WITHIN TECH & REF
We are responsible for design and development of HW Reference Designs (critical building blocks in Axis products) and Test Boards for new Camera ASICs and sensors. We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with the Technology organization and Product design units within R&D to develop our future products. We also work in close cooperation with units responsible for sourcing, production and product management.
