As Electronics Engineer your primary task will be to work with the electronics design in our products. You will perform tests and verifications of the electronic design and create production documentation. Working in close cooperation with the Operations department you will also assist in production start up and optimization work. In your work you will also handle contacts with component distributors, subcontractors and manufacturers in order to insure the quality and goals we are working towards.
The position involves limited traveling.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an engineer with at least a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, some related experience and a genuine interest in electronic design. You have previous experience from working in schematic capture programs, preferably PADS Logic and have knowledge in EMC and appropriate standards.
We believe you are outgoing, independent and have good communication skills in English and Swedish.
THE ELECTRONICS AND MECHANICS DEPARTMENT
The unit is responsible for the design and development of the hardware in Axis products, including electronics, PCB CAD and mechanical CAD. The team is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products. We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with other departments within R&D to develop our future products. We also work in close cooperation with Operations and Product Management.
