Senseair actively works with two of the most challenging problems in society today: reliable alcohol screening and poor air quality.
Every year alcohol is responsible for the death of 2.5 million people around the world. Besides this a great number of injuries and trauma are left out of the statistics. Senseairs alcohol screening device is developed together with a group of leading automobile manufacturers and the US government to develop next generations "invisible" and better accepted technology for the discovery of alcohol in vehicles.
The invisible gas carbon dioxide doesn't only affect our environment and the Earths' atmosphere - our modern-day lifestyle entails spending around 92% of our lives indoors which in turn increases the importance of good air quality for our ability to work and act. You can find Senseair's air measurement solutions in buildings, vehicles, environmental stations, medical applications, life boats, factories, mines etc.
In April 2018, Asahi Kasei Group Company bought the company and has chosen to invest in the Swedish business. Today about 170 employees work nationally within the company distributed over Delsbo, Kista and Västerås. Internationally Senseair can be found in Chengdu, Chicago and Dusseldorf.

As a development engineer (within electronics) you work with electrical design in DxDesigner Schematic and PADS Layout. You work with both innovative solutions within new products and with existing products who need new components or functions. You evaluate components with consideration of function, quality, financial positions and availability. You create electronic schematics and PCB with good EMC properties. You create complete manufacturing drawings and collaborates with the PCB supplier.
You work closely with the optics engineer and mechanical engineer to ensure the design of a complete Senseair product with high quality and functionality.
KvalifikationerEducation, experience & personal qualities
• Academic background within engineering (electronics)
• A few years of experience in electronics design of sensitive electronics in small systems
• Experience of design within a manufacturing business with high-volume production
• Desirable: DxDesigner Schematic, PADS Layout. Quality assurance with ISO standard ISO 26262 or/and automotive standard IATF 16949
• Fluent in English, both verbal and writing. Swedish knowledge is a strong advantage
To succeed in this role you are a problem-solving team player who thrives in a producing and consulting role. At the development department answers aren't already known which requires collaboration and creativity to reach the project goals. Your knowledge within electronics contributes to the entire teams delivery and to Senseairs position as industry leading on the global market.

About the assignment: This is a consultant assignment and you will be employed by Bravura, working as a consultant at Seneair. Both Bravuras and Senseairs goal is that you will be employed directly by Senseair in the future, providing that the collaboration and assignment went well.
