Veoneer LiDAR systems are developed in Stockholm and Skellefteå, with help from highly integrated satellite offices in Timisoara, Germany and US. As a site, our responsibilities range from Electronics and optics to software, algorithms and vehicle testing. All LiDAR development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you'll do?We are now hiring an electronics designer to our Skellefteå office. You will work with all relevant work tasks designing electronics products from scratch to supporting mass production. This includes specifications, requirement management, architecture, electronic design, schematics, layout, FMEA, EMC, test, verification, documentation, trouble shouting, production preparation and support.Our products contain both analog and digital electronics although the most part are related to embedded digital systems. Signal integrity, EMC and heat management are key aspects when designing modern designs.
It is a merit if you have experience from layout, stack-up, reliability and quality work. As an electronics designer you will work in a team in close cooperation with system engineers, software developers, mechanic engineers, products owners and production engineers.
What you'll bring
In order to succeed in the role, we prefer that you have:
• Master of Science or bachelor's degree or equivalent within electronics engineering.
• Experience in electronic design work, schematics, layout, test and verification.
• Experience in electronic embedded design, electronic architecture, requirement management and FMEA.
• It is a merit if you have experience and skills from production, production test, embedded systems, programming, optical systems, electronic quality, functional safety and safety critical automotive systems.

The position requires you to be able to work independent on advanced designs and problems but with the support of a very experienced team.
